This site is the Marc Atkins artist website. For any questions please use the contact form.
What we collect
Contact form data: your name, your email address and your message. The web server may also record your IP address and browser user agent in standard access logs for security and diagnostics.
How we use your data
We use the information you send through the contact form to reply to you and to run this site. The lawful basis is legitimate interests. We also use Google Search Console to view anonymous search performance reports. Search Console does not place cookies on visitors to this site.
How long we keep it
Messages sent through the contact form are normally kept for up to twelve months in our email inbox unless a longer record is needed for our correspondence. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and maintenance.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. Our web host and email provider may process data to deliver this site and email. These service providers may be located outside the United Kingdom with appropriate safeguards in place.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can object to our use based on legitimate interests. To exercise your rights please contact us through the contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. On the contact page we set a short lived session cookie named PHPSESSID to protect the form and maintain basic security. It expires when you close your browser.
